Family Matters
I recently asked my brother, who I haven't always had the best relationship with, over text: "If a guy ever broke up with me and I was like completely devastated, would you be willing to kick his ass for me?" [Certain events triggered the question, but they're a little to personal to share.]
I was expecting a simple "Yes" or maybe even a "Haha yeah, but why do you ask?"
Instead, I was pleasantly surprised with: "Haha that's a stupid question, Chloe. Of course I would"
Not gonna lie, it kinda made my heart melt a little bit.
As brother and sister, we're just getting to the point of being a little bit better than just civil around each other. I've never really seen him take on the protective big brother role, so the answer to my question was not only what I was hoping for, but beyond that.
The rest of the conversation went as so:
Me: "Thank you :)"
EJ: "Is this a figurative question? Or are you going to give me a name? Lol"
Me: "Oh no, it was figurative. I was simply curious"
EJ: "Lol mk. I was about to start creeping your facebook."
Me: "Hahaha. Weirdo. :)"
EJ: "If either of your roommates need someone roughed up, I'll do that, too lol"
Isn't he just the best? Also, future boyfriend, watch it! :)
